Intanto vogliamo raccontarti la grafica realizzata dal nostro team. L’obiettivo è stato fin da subito quello di rappresentare il legame tra la Città di Cagliari e la scherma, dando continuità al lavoro iniziato nel 2019 dal grafico e designer Stefano Asili, che realizzò per noi la grafica dei XVI Campionati del Mediterraneo.
Per quanto riguarda Cagliari abbiamo scelto di rappresentarla attraverso uno degli elementi più riconoscibili del suo skyline ovvero la Torre dell’Elefante, che è una delle porte d’ingresso al nucleo storico della città.
Per la scherma, invece, non abbiamo avuto dubbi scegliendo di inserire le tre armi, il fioretto, la spada e la sciabola, come linee direttrici che convergono sul punto focale della torre.
Se hai tempo, visita anche le bellezze di Cagliari. E magari fai una passeggiata nel quartiere di Castello, capirai facilmente perché abbiamo scelto questo storico monumento per rappresentare la Città.
In this section, you can find all the information about the U23 European Fencing Championships, scheduled to take place in Cagliari from 25 to 28 April 2026. In the meantime, we’d like to show you the graphics created by our team. From the outset, the aim was to represent the link between the City of Cagliari and fencing, following on from the work begun in 2019 by graphic designer Stefano Asili, who created the graphics for the 16th Mediterranean Championships for us.
As for Cagliari, we chose to represent it through one of the most recognisable elements of its skyline: the Torre dell’Elefante, which is one of the gateways to the city’s historic centre.
For fencing, on the other hand, we had no hesitation in choosing to incorporate the three weapons – the foil, the épée and the sabre – as guiding lines converging on the focal point of the tower.
If you have time, do visit the sights of Cagliari. And perhaps take a stroll through the Castello district; you’ll easily understand why we chose this historic monument to represent the city.
